Sam Scott- Thorne has spent over 15 years singing professionally . Originally from Pitlochry, Sam started singing in musical productions for the local amateur dramatics groups, as well as school productions. By age 15, Sam was performing in local bars and venues.

Over the years, Sam has performed in many live bands covering a diverse range of styles, from 4 vocal harmony groups, big swing bands, jazz, neo soul, Motown, pop, rock and everything in between.

 

He has also provided session vocals for album recordings, individual tracks, and backing vocals for other artists, including Lewis Capaldi for the first TRNSMT festival.

Comfortable in many styles, Sam has worked with various artists, be it arranging vocals for live shows, consultations in the songwriting process & leading choir groups.

In addition to Session Singing & Vocal Coaching, Sam also started a YouTube channel where he watches some of the worlds most celebrated vocalists, breaking down how these singers develop thier signature styles. Since launching the channel in 2018, Sam has gained nearly 100 thousand subscribers, and over 11 million views.
